Our approach
Doba KE aims to publish information that is accurate, clear and properly sourced. When we identify a factual error in something we have published, we take reasonable steps to correct it promptly and transparently.
Correcting an error does not undermine our journalism. We believe acknowledging and correcting mistakes is an important part of maintaining the trust of our readers and the integrity of our editorial work.
What we correct
We may issue a correction when published content contains a significant factual error, such as an incorrect name, date, figure, quote, attribution or other material detail.
Minor changes that do not materially affect the meaning of a story may be made without a formal correction notice. We may also update published material when new information becomes available or when additional context is necessary.
Corrections are generally intended to address factual errors. Changes made for clarity, formatting, style or other editorial reasons may not require a correction notice.
How corrections are made
When a correction is warranted, we will update the relevant content and, where appropriate, include a correction note explaining what was changed.
The nature of the correction and the level of detail provided will depend on the significance of the error. We do not intentionally conceal material corrections.
Where a published article has been substantially updated because of new information or developments, we may indicate that the article has been updated rather than treat the change as a formal correction.
Reporting an error
If you believe something published by Doba KE contains a factual error, we encourage you to let us know. Please provide the relevant article or page, identify the information you believe is incorrect and, where possible, provide supporting information or sources.

We may review requests based on the available evidence and determine whether a correction, clarification or other editorial action is appropriate.
Editorial judgment
Not every disagreement with a published article constitutes an error. Doba KE may decline a correction request where the information is accurate but the requester disagrees with the reporting, interpretation, analysis or editorial judgment.
Where appropriate, we may update an article with additional context or clarification rather than issue a formal correction.
