Last UpdatedAugust 2026

Our Approach

Doba KE respects copyright and the rights of artists, writers, photographers, labels, publishers and other rights holders. If you believe material published on Doba KE infringes your copyright, you can contact us with the details of your claim.

We review copyright complaints in good faith and may remove, restrict or disable access to material where appropriate.

A copyright complaint does not automatically mean that material will be removed. We consider the information provided, the nature of the material and any applicable copyright exceptions or other lawful basis for the use.

Before Submitting a Request

Please make sure you have the authority to act on behalf of the copyright owner and that the material you are identifying is protected by copyright and is being used without the necessary permission or legal basis.

Please also consider whether the use may fall within an applicable copyright exception or other lawful use before submitting a complaint.

Where possible, please provide enough information for us to understand the work at issue, the material you are referring to and your relationship to the relevant rights holder.

What to Include

To help us review your complaint, please provide:

  • Your full name and contact information.
  • A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
  • Evidence or information showing that you own or are authorised to act for the rights holder.
  • The URL or specific location of the material on Doba KE.
  • An explanation of why you believe the material infringes your rights.
  • Any other information that may help us identify and assess the material.

Submit a Copyright Complaint

Send your complaint to our copyright contact using the information provided on our Contact page.

Please use the subject line “Copyright Removal Request” so that your request can be directed to the appropriate team.

If you are submitting a complaint on behalf of another person or organisation, please make that relationship clear in your communication.

Review & Removal

Once we receive a complaint, we may review the material, request additional information and contact the relevant contributor or rights holder where necessary.

Where appropriate, Doba KE may remove or restrict access to the material while a complaint is being reviewed. We may also decline a request where the information provided is insufficient or where the use appears to be permitted under applicable law.

Where material is removed or restricted following a complaint, the action may be reviewed if additional information or evidence is provided.

False or Abusive Claims

Copyright complaints should only be submitted where there is a genuine basis for believing that copyright has been infringed. Providing false, misleading or malicious information may have legal consequences.

Repeated or abusive complaints may not be acted upon where they do not provide a legitimate basis for copyright review.

This page describes Doba KE's general copyright complaint process and is not legal advice. Nothing on this page limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
